The title of the persuasive essay I choose is "Sexting: Know the Facts", I found it on the website Teen Ink, the author of the is Katie B. from Auburn, New York. The main point is found in the opening paragraph, it explains what sexting is and the statistics of the teens who "sext". Yes the opening paragraph caught my attention because it shows that many teens participate in sexting, and it relates to people my age. There are six paragraphs in the article "Sexting: Know the Facts", yes each paragraph relates to the thesis. Yes Katie B. uses other examples to back up her argument, she researched people who had their lives ruined because of sexting. She doesn't present the other side of the argument. The author convinced me of her argument because sexting is not right and can ruin a person's life. I believe the author mentioned enough information in her article, no i can't think of a counter argument she could have mentioned, because she had all the right information. The conclusion to the essay is effective, because it shows that once you hit send you can't erase what you did. There was no grammar mistakes in the article. I thought the article was good because it was effectively written. I liked the article because this is a serious topic that many teens are participating in and they don't realize that there are consequences.
